I grew up in the infamous Waitakere (West Auckland), Aotearoa (New Zealand), and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was there that the good experiences and the bad made me who I am today. I attended Arahoe Primary School and Kelston Boys High school, where I learned many things; Science, Mathematics, English and how to defend myself. I maintained my athletic commitments throughout this period as a cricketer in the summer and Rugby League player in the winter. After a decent upbringing; full of a strong work ethic, love and the odd bit of heartbreak I maintained my studies at the University of Auckland, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics. I maintained my athletic commitments throughout this period as a cricketer in the summer and Rugby League player in the winter. From here I moved to Australia to work as a Geologist and started studying film on the side; the highlight was an A+ for Screenwriting at the prestigious UCLA Film School’s Summer School Program. 8 Short Films, one documentary, one music video, one feature film later here I am. I am currently onto my second feature film and I am full steam ahead.
